Born in Spokane, Kenny has performed blues and boogie-woogie for over 50 years. He won the Juno for Best Blues Album in 2006, joined the Boogie-Woogie Piano Hall of Fame in 2017 and won the Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year award at the 2024 Blues Music Awards.
