Kenny Wayne was born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, and was captivated by the boogie-woogie and blues he heard at home from an early age. With more than four decades on stage, he has become one of the world's most respected blues pianists. In 2017 he was inducted into the Boogie-Woogie Hall of Fame, and in 2024 he received the Best Blues Pianist award. His latest album won the Blues Blast Music Award 2025 and the Juno Award for Blues Album, Canada's Grammy equivalent.
With his full band, Kenny delivers a live show that blends power, humor and soul in equal measure. His piano moves between wild boogie and deep blues, pulling the audience in from the first chord.
